Our Story
After earning a degree in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies, Courtney spent a decade juggling fast-paced roles in all things marketing, management, content creation, organization, sales, and event planning.
In 2023, as she stepped into marriage and motherhood, she realized the corporate grind and chasing others’ goals no longer fulfilled her. A homebody at heart, she found joy in cozy nights, good company, and peaceful living spaces.
Inspired by her journey toward a toxin-free lifestyle for her growing family, Courtney set out to build something of her own—a brand that nurtures both homes and hearts...
In November of 2024, The Nest Collective LLC was launched and we can't wait to see what the future holds!
'The Nest Collective' Meaning
Since childhood, Courtney has had a natural inclination to care for others. As the eldest of four siblings, she stepped into a nurturing role early on—developing a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and a love for teaching and planning. Whether nannying, caring for friends, or organizing events like her own wedding, Courtney always approached each task with intention, empathy, and attention to detail.
This spirit of care and thoughtfulness is at the heart of The Nest Collective. The name was chosen to reflect a sense of warmth, comfort, and care—a place where individuals can feel held and supported. But more than just a brand, The Nest Collective is growing into a true community. Through efforts like our newsletter, The Cardinal Post, we continue to cultivate that shared space for connection, inspiration, and meaningful support.
Product Inspiration
All of our products are designed by us, and fit into one or all of our company pillars: intentional living, Jesus, and nature.
Our blanket designs reflect the rural lifestyle and hobbies of our growing family, drawing inspiration from the simplicity of nature. Patterns are inspired from the simplicity of midwestern memories and adventures. We love the beauty of the midwest and try our best to capture its details within our blankets.
Our mugs and poetry fit into our faith and slow living aspect. All the words (besides scripture) are our own, and hope to be as moving for you as they are for us.
